  • Self interest

God knows everything beyond our understanding. The only way others attempt to copy is by seeking for their own self interest. This is why things are better left unsaid and only with the Trinity we would know when we should say what is unsaid.

  • 1John 4:16 God’s Love and Christian Life

“We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭16‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/463/1jn.4.16.NABRE

  • God’s Love and Christian Life.

“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God; everyone who loves is begotten by God and knows God. Whoever is without love does not know God, for God is love. In this way the love of God was revealed to us: God sent his only Son into the world so that we might have life through him. In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as expiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also must love one another. No one has ever seen God. Yet, if we love one another, God remains in us, and his love is brought to perfection in us. This is how we know that we remain in him and he in us, that he has given us of his Spirit. Moreover, we have seen and testify that the Father sent his Son as savior of the world. Whoever acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God remains in him and he in God. We have come to know and to believe in the love God has for us. God is love, and whoever remains in love remains in God and God in him. In this is love brought to perfection among us, that we have confidence on the day of judgment because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear because fear has to do with punishment, and so one who fears is not yet perfect in love.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭7‬-‭18‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/463/1jn.4.7-18.NABRE

  • Testing the Spirits

“Beloved, do not trust every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they belong to God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. This is how you can know the Spirit of God: every spirit that acknowledges Jesus Christ come in the flesh belongs to God, and every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus does not belong to God. This is the spirit of the antichrist that, as you heard, is to come, but in fact is already in the world. You belong to God, children, and you have conquered them, for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. They belong to the world; accordingly, their teaching belongs to the world, and the world listens to them. We belong to God, and anyone who knows God listens to us, while anyone who does not belong to God refuses to hear us. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of deceit.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭4‬:‭1‬-‭6‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/463/1jn.4.1-6.NABRE

  • Don’t Follow Temptation

In our busy lives, filled with commitments and interactions, it is crucial to consistently engage with the scriptures. Amidst the daily hustle, we must remain vigilant against evil and temptation. Reflecting on the example of Jesus, who endured forty days and nights in the desert, we see a profound demonstration of resilience. Despite fasting and being tempted by the adversary, Jesus did not succumb, thereby overcoming evil and strengthening his resistance to temptation. Faith extends beyond weekly church attendance; it involves a personal journey of faith and spiritual growth. Through diligent study of the scriptures, we can fortify ourselves against temptation and aspire to uncover the deeper mysteries of our faith, potentially achieving sainthood.

  • Love and Suffering

Understanding ourselves is a lifelong journey. However, a life without Jesus becomes an endless quest. My initial step in self-discovery involved reflecting on the mother of Jesus, how her devotion to the Immaculate Heart will renew the world. I highly recommend the book "The Marian Manifesto" by Lawrence Maginot. This book started my journey to find the mystery of faith. That led me to the Bible - encouraging me to turn my focus towards the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As God's people, we are destined for heaven, each on our unique journey in this world. Through faith, we learn two essential lessons: love and how to love one another. It's during times of temptation and disappointment that compassion and love are most needed. That’s when we need to be compassionate towards one another. When Jesus died on the cross, His suffering ended yet love and suffering remain deeply intertwined. God did not promise a life without suffering, but through love, we can create an earthly heaven. We are more worldly than ever before, and we must conserve the legacy of our pilgrims and everything they went through for this country. In this wonderful country, united we are also bigger and better surrounded by God's love, especially with one another. Work and suffering are enduring lessons, as love and suffering are intertwined. We must experience both to understand who we are and who God wants us to be.

  • The World’s Hatred

““If the world hates you, realize that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, the world would love its own; but because you do not belong to the world, and I have chosen you out of the world, the world hates you. Remember the word I spoke to you, ‘No slave is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. And they will do all these things to you on account of my name, because they do not know the one who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin; but as it is they have no excuse for their sin. Whoever hates me also hates my Father. If I had not done works among them that no one else ever did, they would not have sin; but as it is, they have seen and hated both me and my Father. But in order that the word written in their law might be fulfilled, ‘They hated me without cause.’ “When the Advocate comes whom I will send you from the Father, the Spirit of truth that proceeds from the Father, he will testify to me. And you also testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.” ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭18‬-‭27‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/463/jhn.15.18-27.NABRE

  • The Vine and the Branches

““I am the true vine, and my Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in me that does not bear fruit, and every one that does he prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples. As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love. If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete. This is my commandment: love one another as I love you. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. You are my friends if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because a slave does not know what his master is doing. I have called you friends, because I have told you everything I have heard from my Father. It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. This I command you: love one another. ‭‭John‬ ‭15‬:‭1‬-‭17‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/463/jhn.15.1-17.NABRE

  • The Answer to Prayers

““Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬-‭8‬ ‭NABRE‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/463/mat.7.7-8.NABRE

  • Lost Souls

Recently, the world has been very evil; making it difficult to comprehend the motives behind it. One thing is certain: I know who is in charge. I do not blame the killer or shooter for the evil things they did. I feel sorry for them because they will never see heaven or get to know God. They are destined to remain in eternal darkness, wandering by a river with the rest of those lost souls. Stay in the light and read the Bible, not just for understanding but to know who you are.

  • Gift

The divine bestows upon us gifts that reside within our hearts. The Almighty gave us these gifts to be utilized, not neglected in favor of idle pastimes. It is our responsibility to employ His gifts for the greater good. To discover these gifts, we must go out there, explore our abilities, and nurture them. It could be anything, like nursing someone back to health or being an artist who brings joy to the world. Whatever these gifts may be, find them through a journey of faith and use them for the greater good. Identifying and using these gifts is essential. Through our gifts and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we can foster unity and rejuvenate our communities through meaningful events and engagements, bringing life into our communities. These gifts are not meant to be hidden away, never to be seen again but to be used for good. Attempt to find our gifts, through our community to find unity within the Trinity. The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.
