True Friend

In this world we all need a friend. Not an acquaintance who just wants to have fun and "go party". I’m talking about a true friend who is there when you need it the most. When things are not so good. Are we being good Christians and truly being there for one another? Are we lending a helping hand? Are we listening to our friend through their frustrations. One day your friend may get sick and have no one to advocate for him. Are you willing to visit your friend? It’s important to be a good friend so we can help each other through those tough times. We really never know when our life is going to flip upside down. God gave us opportunities to solve problems, but he never said we had to do it alone. As more time passes, I come to the realization that good friends are hard to find.

John 15:13 “No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

John 15:17 “This I command you: love one another.”
