THE MYSTERY OF FAITH
Pride comes before the fall
Pride often stems from self-satisfaction linked to achievements. It's wonderful to experience success and a sense of accomplishment, yet such feelings are fleeting as the cycle of self-evaluation continues. Valuing self-worth is crucial, as we know that God loves all His children, and there's nothing more rewarding than being loved by God. Meanwhile, some pursue the ideal family image, perhaps owning a luxurious home without a backyard, or striving to be part of an elite soci
Lawlessness
The unruly individuals were poised to steer our free nation towards idol worship. Had we continued in lawlessness, our soldiers and patriots would have sought refuge. If most of the population had followed the unruly, we would certainly have been doomed. Support your neighbors and refrain from idolizing other deities. One day, it might be the devil in disguise. Be courageous, love one another, and avoid worshiping other gods, particularly materialistic values.
Jesus is born
During this blessed season, intended for reflection and spiritual preparations, our hearts and minds are naturally drawn to the profound significance of Advent – a period designed to usher in the miraculous celebration of Jesus's birth. Yet, I often find myself observing, and indeed experiencing, how easily this sacred journey can become overshadowed. The ubiquitous 'hustle and bustle' – the endless quest for the perfect gifts, the sheer volume of tasks – often consumes our e
Fake Truth
Jesus referred to himself as the light of the world because he embodies truth. This is not the fake truth often presented to us, such as social gossip and materialistic values. Social media frequently highlights the latest trends and luxurious possessions, but genuine happiness has always existed and remains unchanged. True happiness is found in a spirited child, muddy boots, and a glowing face provided by good food from God. Despite attempts by malevolent forces tries to mak
Messages and Suffering
Our body is a temple that hold our spirit from within. We are all made special in our own unique ways. The love always wanting to come out without knowing the reason. The tug of wanting to see a kite above the sky. It 's so deeply engraved in our souls it has a unique ability to connect love with the world around us. life isn't always perfect and could get pretty messy. One thing is for sure God sends us messages all the time. It could be as simple as a butterfly. Messages
No one confronts evil alone
We currently live in a world where evil is pervasive. An elderly woman once told me, "The devil is walking on his last leg," and I was taken aback by the truth in her words. We have been engaged in a spiritual battle for a decade now, but its impact became truly palpable only when we confronted evil directly. Darkness has rampaged unchecked, consuming everything in its path, particularly targeting the weak and vulnerable. The film "The Ritual," featuring Al Pacino, imparted a
Spiritual War
Jesus Christ, our Lord, spent 40 days in the desert to test Himself against evil and ensure His ability to overcome it. During this time, enduring the desert without food or water made resisting temptation incredibly challenging. However, only the strongest individuals can navigate the straight path while avoiding the crooked one. The world is in constant motion, and numerous spiritual events are occurring at present. The righteous are facing persecution, innocent individuals
This is true faith
This poem is the best description regarding “Faith Journey” Day by day, day by day, O dear Lord, three things I pray: to see thee more clearly, love thee more dearly, follow thee more nearly, day by day, -St. Richard of Chichester The exploration of faith is a journey. Each individual embarks their own empty paths. And every individual is on their own path building creating their own architectural building. It is a process that is very mysterious but that’s okay because God’
Self interest
God knows everything beyond our understanding. The only way others attempt to copy is by seeking for their own self interest. This is why things are better left unsaid and only with the Trinity we would know when we should say what is unsaid.
Don’t Follow Temptation
In our busy lives, filled with commitments and interactions, it is crucial to consistently engage with the scriptures. Amidst the daily hustle, we must remain vigilant against evil and temptation. Reflecting on the example of Jesus, who endured forty days and nights in the desert, we see a profound demonstration of resilience. Despite fasting and being tempted by the adversary, Jesus did not succumb, thereby overcoming evil and strengthening his resistance to temptation. Fait
Love and Suffering
Understanding ourselves is a lifelong journey. However, a life without Jesus becomes an endless quest. My initial step in self-discovery involved reflecting on the mother of Jesus, how her devotion to the Immaculate Heart will renew the world. I highly recommend the book "The Marian Manifesto" by Lawrence Maginot. This book started my journey to find the mystery of faith. That led me to the Bible - encouraging me to turn my focus towards the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spir
