**Reflection**

The king did not have any influence. David was a normal child from a normal family doing his daily chores. There were no royal descendants. He wasn't rich nor needed to wear fancy things. He was selected because of his heart. His heart is kind, generous, and he also works very hard. God selected him to become king of Jerusalem because of his good heart. Not everyone could be king but we could all feel like Gods servants. It takes dedication and hard work to truly be acknowledged for our quality of work. The best thing to do is work hard and do everything for the glory of GOD. In GOD we could truly show our greatest work.
