1Samuel 12:21 Do not turn aside to gods who are nothing, who cannot act and deliver. They are nothing.

**Reflection**

The Israelites asked for a king, Samuel did not want to give them a king but he did as they requested. Samuel wanted them to make God their king. Unfortunately, the Israelites did not understand the difference. They only did what they could comprehend. If the Israelites could only see, what it could have been like to have God as their king than they could have been free. United States was based on God's Country the land of the free. Freedom only comes when we believe in God all mighty. If we stop believing than may as well be like any other country. Other countries have their churches underground because of oppression. The people are not allowed to believe in God. In this world it may not seem like this is happening but it is! Do not take freedom for granted, treat it like Gods country our true king. If we all follow Gods way of being, then our country will be forever blessed and protected by the real God almighty.
